Polish Woman Heads up Scientology Volunteer Ministers Group

I found this story on ScientologyToday.org

Hanna Garbalska (far left) has now opened the National Scientology Volunteer Ministers Center of Poland where she offers training and one-on-one help in Scientology technology for the people of her country.

Hanna Garbalska had a lot to be proud of this week. Not only is she now fully certified as a Scientology Volunteer Minister but she has also accomplished a personal goal to be able to help the people of her country — with the opening of a Scientology Volunteer Ministers Center in Warsaw.

It was only a few months ago that Hanna learned about the Volunteer Ministers movement, when the Central European Goodwill Tour arrived in Warsaw. Immediately seeing the potential, she began taking courses in the big yellow tent. But she soon realized what Scientology technology could mean for the people of her country and that's when she dedicated herself to opening a permanent center that would continue delivering Scientology services to the people of Poland after the Goodwill Tour moved on.

The nation of Poland is still recovering from more than 50 years of suppression, first during World War II when over 6 million of its citizens, most of them Polish Jews, perished at the hands of the Nazis, and then as part of the Soviet Bloc, where basic freedoms and prosperity were denied them.

Despite Poland now having one of the strongest economies of the former Eastern Bloc nations, it suffers the highest unemployment rate in the European Union, and many young Poles are leaving the country to find work.

It is against this backdrop that the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour arrived earlier this year, making the technology of L. Ron Hubbard available to the people of Poland.

The courses they offer, based on The Scientology Handbook, have application to every area of life — from improving relationships to helping someone learn to study; from overcoming stress to resolving conflicts; and for those who need help in surviving in a weak economy there are courses on the basics of organization, and tools for the workplace.

And as the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Central European Goodwill Tour prepares to move to other countries in the region, thanks to Hanna and the other Volunteer Ministers who were trained in Scientology techniques by the Goodwill Tour, there are now 16 Volunteer Minister groups throughout the region.
