Volunteer Minister Stories

Wednesday, July 26, 2006

In Calcutta, India, Scientology Volunteer Ministers lead by Mohammad Khalil Ullah are making a difference in the lives of the slum children. I found this photograph of him on the Scientology Volunteer Ministers web site.

Mr. Ullah is a humanitarian and educator who found out about the Volunteer Ministers program when the India Goodwill Tour attended the Calcutta Book Fair early this year, and began training as a Volunteer Minister immediately.

His work to help the children of Calcutta reminds me of something David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center, said in a recent speech: " A society is comprised of individuals. And if solutions are what we seek then let’s revitalize the individual himself."
