Scientology Volunteer Ministers in Calcutta Slums

More than 4 million people live in desperate poverty in the slums of Calcutta, India. At the very bottom of the slum society are the street-children. Abandoned and living their own, these children barely survive from day-to-day. The Scientology Volunteer Ministers India Goodwill Tour is now working with these children to give them the tools they need to create a better future.

With over 4 million living in the slums of Kolkata, the priority of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers is to provide the children with tools to enable them to improve their lives.

The Volunteer Ministers start their work with these youth by providing "group processing," a technique developed by L. Ron Hubbard in the 1950s which can be run on large groups of people to help them increase their awareness and ability.
