Hurricane Katrina

I certainly never expected a disaster of the scope of what we have following Hurricane Katrina to hit America.

I guess I've just been too complacent -- along with hundreds of millions of other Americans -- thinking "that can never happen here"

But what makes me really proud is the way Americans are responding to this, to help one another. Individual people who are taking on a lot more than they are used to, to reach out to one another.

We have hundreds of Scientology Volunteer Ministers on the scene helping to put things to rights for the survivors of this disaster. They need all the help they can get. If you can join them or donate money or goods to help, please go to the Scientology Volunteer Ministers web site. It explains there how you can join us and other ways you can help.
