Helping Parents and Kids

Here's a questions. Is there such a thing as a generation gap?

In the late '50s early 60s when I was a kid there was a lot of hype about a generation gap.

What it means is that parents and kids grow so far apart that they can't communicate with one another any longer.

There is a Scientology principle called the "ARC Triangle." On the Scientology web site.

It says:

A principle of considerable importance in Scientology, and one that greatly assists interpersonal relationships, is that of affinity, reality and communication. The three form an interdependent triangle and add up to understanding.

There is a trick on this. That is that if you raise your communication with someone you will also increase your affinity for the person and your agreement (reality). Or if you need to raise communication with someone you can't talk to, find something you really like about the person and about which you agree, and talk to them about that.

It's actually so simple but so effective, that if that's all you knew of Scientology technology and you practiced it every day your life would improve.

It's also something any parent can use to overcome the "generation gap" and restore communication with a child.
