Volunteer Ministers and the Help They Provide

One of the Volunteer Ministers booklets covers study technology. This is a series of discoveries L. Ron Hubbard made when he was training Scientologists to become counselors. But study technology applies to any subject you might need to learn.

For example, a few years ago I needed to learn how to write some code to run a program I needed at work. It was totally above my head and at first I felt dizzy, trying to learn it. But with what I knw of study tech I was able to apply a very simple technique to pull myself out of a spin and learn the programming language I needed to be able to use the software.

I am most definitely not a geek but I could use this technique to learn a completely new, and at first overwhelming, subject.
