Scientology Volunteer Ministers Bringing Study Technology

Scientology Volunteer Ministers are helping students and teachers in the community of Santa Cruz in Salvador Da Bahia, Brazil, learn and apply the basics of Study Technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard to help boost their ability to learn and apply information. The Volunteer Ministers web site had this to say about this program:

Members of the Brazilian Scientology Volunteer Minister Goodwill Tour find nothing more rewarding than their work to help children.

An example of this occurred recently when two of the Volunteer Ministers went to visit a remedial school in Santa Cruz, a community in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil.

After talking with the teachers and meeting the children, they weren't surprised to find that most of the students who were having trouble in school simply had never learned how to study.

They met with the director of the school and showed her the booklet from the Scientology Handbook called "The Technology of Study." The director of the school saw immediately how she could put this to use and how much more she would be able to help the children by using these techniques.

The Volunteer Ministers left, knowing that what they had done that afternoon had provided every child in that school with the chance to learn the skills they need to succeed in life.
